"SIM Error" message

There is a problem with the inserted SIM card.

  1. Clean it and retry. Be sure to enter it correctly and put the battery cover on (the antenna of the phone is in the cover).
  2. Check if the SIM is activated and working with another phone.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

There is a known issue with HTC HD7. With the unsupported SIM the phone asks for the PIN. Many customers are inserting the PIN of the SIM, the phone accepts it but display the SIM Error. If your phone is HD7 and experience this you need to insert he code provided by us instead of the PIN and everything will work fine.

Dear Omar,
HTC Thunderbolt is a CDMA/LTE phone and is not working with the GSM networks. The SIM card slot is for LTE networks (NOT GSM).

Unfortunately your phone is not usable outside US.
